A romantic
coming-of-age dramedy about five twenty-something friends who realize
that having a degree does not necessarily mean you know what to do with
your life. When Alex returns to LA, after being part of a Dot.com
lay-off and realizing that she enjoyed here weekend job at the coffee
shop much more than slaving away in a cubicle for 90 hours a week with
nothing to show for it, the friends decide to band together and start
their own business. Utilizing their various talents, coupled with the
extensive experience they accumulated during their higher education year
as waiters, bartenders and cappucino-makers, the group sets out to open
a funky coffee shop/bar: The Puzzled Cafe. And soon learn that starting
a business isn't as simple as it seems and affects not only their
friendships but their hearts. |
