OFFICIAL SELECTION - METHODFEST 2003

FUGLY

Independent Film Superstar- NEIL MATHER  (Border to Border, Dinner Time) and the King of Commercials- LARRY DORF (AM/PM, Circuit City) team up with a bunch of other actors you have never heard of in this hilarious, off beat comedy.

Just twenty-four hours after marrying the girl of his dreams, Brian (Mather) decides he has done himself and the entire female population a huge disservice. With a bit of bad advice from his best friends David and self-proclaimed lady-killer, J.P. (Dorf) Brian quickly finds himself back in the singles game. Little does he know it is a game he is about to lose. After several weeks of rejection and a one-night stand nightmare with Cha Cha "The Orgasm Woman", Brian realizes that the grass is not so green on the other side. Comedy hits a new level as Brian, J.P. and David devise a not so clever plan to win back his wife. Kent Buchanan (previously a grip) is wildly entertaining as the hypnotist who gives Brian a whole new outlook on women. Will Brian win his sweetheart back? Does David ever stop eating? Will the hypnotist ever put on some pants?! Don’t miss this hysterical comedy that brings non-stop laughs from beginning to end!

OFFICIAL SELECTION

to METHODFEST  April 11 -18, 2003

NEIL MATHER      (Producer, Writer, Actor)

Neil Mather's love for filmmaking weren’t so strong he would probably be the only 30-year-old batboy for the Arizona Diamondbacks. He grew up in Arizona watching sports and movies. If it wasn’t for being a fat chub as a young teenager Neil might never have taken a chance as an actor. After attending the University of Arizona as a theater major he immediately moved out to Los Angeles in 1992. For the first couple of years Neil landed small, if you sneeze he’s gone roles in a couple of big budget films but later moved on to bigger and better parts in movies that require and advanced search on the Internet. One of these parts was Neil Pearson in the feature film called Border to Border. After much success with the film festival circuit Neil decided to write and produce his own movie. Thousands of hours later and a sucker for punishment Neil is proud to present an off-beat comedy called Fugly.

NEIL MATHER   can also be seen in  "JAMES DEAN", "NATIONAL IDENTITY", "DINNER TIME", "GAME DAY" and "FUGLY"

Neil is currently represented by Greg Zollo at NT Management (323) 954-3693  as well as B.B.T. Agency (818) 753-5424

JEANINE DiTOMASSO  graduated from The University of The Arts with a degree in Theater. She was then awarded a two-year contract with The Hedgerow Theater, our nations first repertory theater. Here she was cast in roles ranging from Rosalind in AS YOU LIKE IT to Essie in YOU CAN’T TAKE IT WITH YOU. Upon relocating to LA Jeanine became involved with East LA Classic Theater. There she visited many East LA schools, bringing theater and the love of acting with her. Look for her as a big winner on the USA game show SMUSH! And you can hear Jeanine as the voice of QT the dog in the upcoming animation film, A NINE DOG CHRISTMAS

LARRY DORF   "Time Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, and Rex Reed all agree that (Larry Dorf) is one of the year's best (actors)".

A member of the world famous Groundling Theater Sunday Company, Mr. Dorf has recently guest-starred on The X-Files, and 3rd Rock From The Sun.  He has also appeared in numerous national commercials such as Budweiser, M &M's, Circuit City, 10-10-220, and Lipton Iced Tea.  Perhaps that is why Fortune Magazine says:

"(Larry Dorf) is the wealthiest man in (America)".

GEORGE TASUDIS  was Born in 1965.  He graduated from the Academy of Art and Film in Sofia.

His Credits include "White Oleander", "Metropolis", "City of Angels", "Dead Last", "Seven Days".

KAITLIN OLSON is currently a member of The Sunday Company at The Groundlings, Kaitlin can also be seen in Coyote Ugly, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, and the Fox pilot Meet the Marks.  Kaitlin will only refer to herself in the third person.
